The purpose of this accounts jobs, To provide a professional accounting and financial management service for locally
managed schools as requested on a traded service basis including

• provide assistance in the budget preparation, budget forecasts and closure of
  accounts processes for locally managed schools
• provide a regular payroll and budget monitoring, financial control and advice
  service

To advise schools on the implementation of the Scheme for Financing Schools and
of the Local Authority’s probity requirements for schools.
